906 Technologies increases staff, looking to add more soon

906 Technologies has seen quite a bit of growth since it first opened its doors. In fact, the last year alone has seen the young company hiring six full-time employees, including programmers, a web development manager and a new IT director.

What’s more is the company has intentions to hire three more full-time staffers throughout the remainder of 2012.

“Our main focus generating such growth has been the Mobile Application Development field,” says Michael Lampi, the company’s marketing director. “There is a growing demand for mobile applications in every aspect of our lives. For example, QR Codes being used at restaurants, stores offering discounts for checking in on Four Square, community development groups showcasing their members, all the way to creating their own mobile apps that allow customers a more personalized experience for the banking industries.”

In addition to the employee growth, 906 Technologies recently moved into a new location in the America Mall near Target in Marquette to handle their increased staff and to create a classroom where they will soon begin offering companies business training, operate in-house programming classes and more.
