Operation Action U.P. announces business awards
This year's recipients of Operation Action U.P. have been announced and will be recognized at the economic development organization's annual meeting in February.
What’s happening: Operation Action U.P. has announced the recipients of its 2023 Award of Excellence. The recipients will be honored at the economic development organization’s Annual Meeting on Feb. 15.
The recipients: Guide Star, Kubick Aviation Services, Inc., Louisiana Pacific Building Solutions – Sagola, and Orbion Space Technology. The award recipients will provide an overview of their business, noting their remarkable successes, at the Annual Meeting.
Also at the Annual Meeting: Along with the award ceremony, Chris Holman, founder and CEO of Michigan Business Network, will discuss the Michigan Future Business Index, and Sarah Lucas, director of Michigan Office of Rural Prosperity, will discuss the state’s recently released Roadmap to Rural Prosperity.
Where’s the meeting: The meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the ballroom at Northern Michigan University’s Northern Center. The meeting is open tot the public. The fee to attend is $75 for members and $100 for non-members.
