Good Earth Salon ready for new clients
A new salon is open in Iron Mountain with a focus on natural products.
The Good Earth Salon is an Aveda concept salon, thanks to owner Kate Chaperon’s Aveda Institute training. It’s newly open at 922 River Avenue as of August, and offers clients a calm, relaxing, earth-friendly experience.
Chaperon is an Iron Mountain native who attended the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in East Lansing, then worked in Marquette at Salon Salon before returning to Iron Mountain.
The Good Earth Salon’s services include men’s, women’s and children’s haircuts & styles, Aveda products, colors and highlights, special-occasion updos and waxing.
If that’s not enough, the salon has plans to expand to a second floor which will include a sunroom and back deck for clients to relax in, and more spa services like manicures, pedicures, facials and massage.
