Marinette Marine Corporation has a new VP of manufacturing, according to a recent announcement from the company.

Tom Perrine isn’t a new presence at the Marinette, Wis.-based company; he’s been director of engineering since last spring, and has been making contributions to the senior leadership team since.

“Tom has introduced positive changes into the Company’s engineering organization and processes,” says Chuck Goddard, MMC’s president, CEO and general manager. “Applying his steadfast commitment to continuing improvement and full spectrum leadership in this key role brings an even sharper focus to our continued growth and success.”

Perrine brought almost 30 years of shipbuilding and ship repair experience to the company, from shipyards across the U.S. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s of science degree in naval architecture and marine engineering, and has received a certificate of continuing engineering studies from John Hopkins University.
