Aubree’s expands with bar

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
A quick glance inside the newly-opened expansion of Aubree’s Pizza in Marquette and it clear to see that owners Bill and Sandee French wwere serious in their goal of opening a top-notch sports bar.

The sports bar, which was built into the building adjoining Aubree’s and effectively doubles the square footage of the restaurant, kicked off its grand opening on New Year’s Eve. To celebrate, Aubree’s has offered up new specials, new brews and plenty of televisions for everyone to watch their favorite games on.

Operations at the sports bar are being overseen by general manager James Center.

And if you’re looking for a place to grab a slice of pizza and cheer on the Red Wings, Tigers (so soon!) or your other favorite team, then you will probably enjoy grabbing a seat at Aubree’s. How good is their pizza? Well, we’re no pros, so we’ll let the college students at Northern Michigan University tell you, since they chose Aubree’s as the winner for the second annual NMU Public Relations Student Society of America pizza contest.
