“The NMDA Marine Electrical Systems Lab Pod will provide two marine electrical system mock-ups for instruction and hands-on skill development. We feel strongly that the more highly trained technicians we can help develop, the better it is for all segments of our industry," said Nancy Cueroni, executive director of the National Marine Distributors Association.
“I know of no other fundraisers that generated this level of support from other local businesses. This is awesome,” said Marjorie Moore, secretary for Alger County Communities that Care. “This is so supported by the community, so we’ll tweak it a little to make it run more efficiently and hopefully get some more businesses involved.”
“From my first day here as the director, it has been obvious to me that our staff is just different,” said John P. Shealey, director of the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center. “They take a lot of pride in the mission and are dedicated to the Veterans and family members they are serving.”

Many of our residents are facing challenges and barriers when trying to access health care and vital resources such as food, housing and mental health services,” said Sara Giles, board president of the Superior Health Foundation.
