The iconic Stormy Kromer-style hat is now available in your favorite college colors. The Ironwood company this week unveiled a series of hats of representing colleges from the Midwest, including Northern Michigan University, Michigan Technological University, and Lake Superior State University.

Within days of its release, a special-edition Stormy Kromer cap commemorating the tragic sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sold out. The caps were a fundraiser for a Wisconsin organization that wants to erect an historical sign at the ship's last port of call on Lake Superior.
A special fund created by the Keweenaw Community Foundation will help support local management, sustainable access and long-term care of the Keweenaw Heartlands.
"This new facility, bolstered by our partnership with Formula Boats, marks a pivotal moment for the Marine Trades Institute," says Nikki Storey, president of the Marine Trades Institue. "It not only allows us to meet the growing demand for skilled marine technicians but also reinforces our commitment to providing students with the best possible training environment."
