The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed a new director to lead the organization.

Kori Tossava replaces Elizabeth Peterson as the new director of the GINCC, which has more than 230 members throughout the western end of Marquette County.

Tossava is from the west end, as is her husband, who hails from Negaunee.

“We decided to keep this place our home and where we wanted to raise our children: shop here, play here, live here,” Tossava says in an open letter to the community. “For me, it really is that simple.”

Tossava will be responsible for helping the chamber, and it’s members, grow, communicate, fundraise and organize and run the multiple GINCC-sponsored events.
