Iron County Reporter adds to staff

The Iron County Reporter announced recently that it has hired a new reporter to its staff.

Nikki Mitchell is a graduate of Northern Michigan University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English writing with a minor in journalism. While there, she worked for the student-run newspaper, the North Wind.

Prior to her education at NMU, Mitchell studied at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis.

Mitchell was born and raised in Iron River and is a 2006 graduate of West Iron County High School.
