Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance hires new director

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
The search for a new executive director of the Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance is officially over, and Jeff Ratcliffe will be taking on that role.

Ratcliffe, who is expected to take on the role full time beginning this coming spring, is no stranger to economic development, or weather in northern Michigan, for that matter. He previously worked as the executive director for the Ostego County Economic Alliance, a position he has held since 2001. He has also been the president of the Michigan Economic Development Association and was previously the executive director of the Luce County Economic Development Corps.

Ratcliffe replaces Phil Musser, who announced he would be stepping down earlier this year.
