Lake Superior Community Partnership plans CEO transition
CEO Christopher Germain will remain in his role throughout the search and transition process.

What’s happening: Lake Superior Community Partnership has announced a planned leadership transition in the wake of CEO Christopher Germain’s intentions to “step away from the role in to 2026 to meet evolving family needs,” the organization said in a news release. The transition is being approached “deliberately and in close partnership with the LSCP Board of Directors to ensure continuity, stability, and continued progress for the organization and the community it serve,” the organization said.
About Germain: Germain has served as CEO at LSCP since August 2022. He previously served as a senior planner for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Under Germain’s leadership at the LSCP, the organization “has strengthened its role as a comprehensive economic development organization and advanced major initiatives focused on housing, small business support, air service, childcare, healthcare and other critical issues impacting the region’s long-term vitality,” the organization said. Germain will remain in his role throughout the search and transition process.
