Makela, Toutant, Hill & Nardi promote several staffers

Five staffers at the accounting firm of Makela, Toutant, Hill & Nardi were recently promoted to new positions within the Marquette-based company.
Erin Sikkema, Brett Girard, Aaron Adriano, Laura Provost, and Kara Katona all earned a step up and new titles.
Sikkema is a CPA who was promoted to the position of senior tax accountant in the firm’s tax department. She has a degree from Northern Michigan University and has been with company since 2012.
Girard has been promoted to manager in the audit department at Makela, Toutant, Hill & Nardi. Girard, who is a CPA, has a degree from Michigan Tech University and joined the firm in 2009.
Adriano was also promoted to the position of senior tax accountant. He has been with the firm since 2011 and has a degree from NMU.
Provost, a CPA, has been promoted to manager in the audit department. She has a degree from Lake Superior State University and has been with the firm since last year.
Katona, a CPA, has been promoted to senior manager in the tax department. She is no stranger to working with Makela, Toutant, Hill & Nardi, having joined the company in 2005. She also has a degree from NMU.
