This designation was granted following a comprehensive site visit in Cedarville and a unanimous vote by the organization’s review commission. In essence, the designation confirms that the Marine Trades Institute continues to provide consistent, career-focused instruction that meets the evolving needs of the marine industry.

About the process: The accreditation process involved a deep evaluation of curriculum, facilities, and industry
partnerships. Reviewers commended the institute for its commitment to a highly relevant curriculum taught by faculty who are active industry veterans. By serving as both dedicated educators and working professionals, the institute’s instructors ensure that students receive training grounded in the realities of modern service yard operations.
