Michigan Tech ranks among the best

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It’s starting to be old hat for Michigan Technological University, but it’s always nice to know you’re considered to be one of the best colleges around.

MTU, which is located in Houghton, has again been named as on of the best colleges in the Princton Review’s 2014 listings. In the Best 378 College, Michigan Tech was named a Best Midwestern College for a third-straight year. Not too shabby, hey?

Princeton Review (which is not associated with Princeton University) also gave Michigan Tech good marks in quality of life, safety and “green” categories.

In the comments section, students said that Michigan Tech has “very high standards when it comes to education,” offers “serious study in a beautiful (often snowy) environment” and has a “good reputation,” especially for engineering.
