NMU Career Center offers new online services for students, employers, alumni

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Current students and alumni of Northern Michigan University, along with area employers, have a new tool available to connect when looking for jobs or employees.

NMU Career Services launched the new online system, called Cat Career Tracks, this month. Its goal is to streamline account registration, resume referrals, employment searching, job postings and management, interview scheduling, career fair registration, alumni career assistance and other functions that connect students, alumni and employers.

Among the things students can do: search jobs, schedule interviews, send online inquiries, manage their resumes, cover letters and other documents. Employers can post jobs, receive online applications, and sign up for career events at NMU.

Alumni might be doing either one, depending on their job status, one can assume.
