Partridge Creek Farm sets Giving Tuesday campaign to bolster food access
The farm hopes to raise $5,000 to upgrade free community grazing beds at the Ishpeming Middle School garden.

What’s happening: Partridge Creek Farm has launched a Giving Tuesday campaign, hoping to raise $5,000 to upgrade the free community grazing beds at the Ishpeming Middle School garden in downtown Ishpeming. The beds provide free, fresh produce to anyone in need, supporting families in the community. Giving Tuesday is held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving — Dec. 2 this year.
How the donations will help: Donations will support the replacement of the rotting beds and relocate them to the outer edges of the site to increase accessibility, enabling Partridge Creek Farm to feed even more families each growing season. Looking ahead to 2026, the organization also plans to expand grazing bed signage to reach more community members and further enhance local food acce
What they’re saying: “Supporting food access and providing resources to our community has never been more important. These grazing beds play a vital role in offering free, fresh produce to those who need it most,” said Mary Antonia Andronis, executive director of Partridge Creek Farm.
About Partridge Creek Farm: For more than a decade, Partridge Creek Farm has worked to ensure Ishpeming residents have access to fresh, nutritious food while building meaningful connections through hands-on education. Since its founding in 2013, the organization has grown a 3.5-acre farm, reached over 500 hundred Ishpeming students through Farm-to-School programming, and developed 4 community gardens that offer produce free to anyone who needs it. Through its partnership with the Salvation Army in Ishpeming, PCF has also donated $1368 worth of fresh produce to 289 families facing food insecurity.
