Program offers opportunities for those often forgotten by the foster care system
"Aging out" of the foster care system leaves young adults on their own in the world, often with little or no instruction or guidance on how to build a successful life. The Michigan Youth Opportunity Initiative is a new program that offers youths from foster homes support and common sense information as they learn to live in the "real world."
