First a book and now a feature-length movie? The U.P. is getting put in the spotlight

Written by a Yooper and set in the Upper Peninsula, Ron Riekki's book, U.P. has locals anxiously awaiting the production of a feature-length film shot right in their backyard. Second Wave's Victoria Peters talks book tours and screenplays with Steven Wiig, a Negaunee native whose gung-ho attitude has gotten the ball rolling to make the movie happen here in Michigan.
