Roam helps bring out the adventuring spirit

Oh give me a home, where the Yoopers do roam and the deer and the bobcats do play!

While we may be butchering that classic tune, the truth of the matter is that many of us do have that roaming spirit. We want to go out and explore and be on an adventure. Well, Tom Dolaskie (co-founder of U.P. Overland) knows that desire all too well. He is constantly on the move and always looking for the next great place to visit here in the Upper Peninsula. That’s why he decided to start Roam, Inc., an adventure lifestyle brand that was founded in Munising.

“I’ve had this model shelved for a couple of years waiting for the time to be right,” says Dolaskie. “Roam, basically, is an adventure ‘brand without boundaries’ that we started here in Munising. We’re focused now on the clothing line, but we have some pretty exciting stuff spinning up behind the scenes that we’ll be announcing soon to expand the brand beyond clothing.”
