Sage Premiere HealthCare and Walk-In Clinic opens doors in Marquette

A new health care practice and walk-in clinic is open in Marquette County.

Sage Premier HealthCare and Walk-In Clinic just celebrated its grand opening at 2250 U.S. 41, Suite 1 in Chocolay Township just south of Marquette.

The physician serving the urgent care clinic is Dr. Jonathan Robertson, D.O., who is a graduate of the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech, and has also completed a family practice residency.

He describes his approach to patient care as one focused on long-term wellness and helping patients develop healthy lifestyles, and one of the focuses of the practice is “unhurried” appointments so that patients are listened to and have adequate time with the doctor.

Sage Premier HealthCare operates on a membership model, where individuals or families pay a set rate each month or year in exchange for lower per-visit rates and 24-hour access to a doctor. Non-members also are welcome on an urgent care or walk-in basis, but the membership model will certainly appeal to families with children and those who have regular, planned doctor visits. Lab work, tests and exams are billed extra as needed.
