Upper Peninsula State Bank expands programs, adds to staff

The Upper Peninsula State Bank has announced it is expanding its offerings with a new service known as the UPSB Financial Services. 
 
The service, which is in partnership with Infinex Investments, will offer customers access to a variety of financial services, such as fixed-income securities and investment accounts, managed money solutions, retirement planning and long-term care and life-insurance products. Additionally, there will be services that include managing customer portfolios of stocks, bonds, 401K rollovers, life insurance, educational funding, mutual funds, annuities and more. 
 
To run the new Investment Center, which is located at 430 N. Lincoln Road in Escanaba, Upper Peninsula State Bank has hired Lawrence Hathaway. 
 
Hathaway has more than 10 years of professional experience in financial services, including insurance and brokerage.
