Steve Asplund hired as news director at TV6

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Longtime reporter and news anchor Steve Asplund has been named the news director at WLUC TV6, an announcement that should be no surprise due to Asplund’s amazing qualifications for the job.

Asplund replaces Regina Robinson, who parted ways with the station recently. He is no stranger to the job, having held the role in the 1990s. He was also assistant news director under Robinson.

Asplund will continue to be the 6 p.m. news anchor.
