New YMCA director named in Iron Mountain

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
It’s not very often we here at U.P. Second Wave are sad to see someone move from one job to another, but we are indeed going to miss Jonathan Ringel as he leaves his post as the manager at the Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority/Main Street and takes his new position as director of the Northern Lights YMCA Dickinson Center. He has been a big supporter of UPSW since the very beginning (thank you!).

Of course, we are happy for Ringel, who has been a huge supporter for our publication, and we are happy for the YMCA for landing such a quality director.

The YMCA, located at the old Crystal Lake Community Center, will have Ringel overseeing fundraising and programming.

There are 25 employees at the YMCA who Ringel will be leading.
