Founded in Marquette and now working throughout the state, Northern Initiatives helps underserved rural entrepreneurs realize their business dreams. The nonprofit lender helped Port Hope Diner in the Thumb. Efforts in the U.P. include the newly opened Red Hen Foods and Goods in Nisula.
